It is with deep sadness that the Hampton Police Division announces the passing of retired K9 Justice, a devoted member of our law enforcement family.

K9 Justice served faithfully from November 14, 2016, through March 29, 2024, working alongside his handlers with exceptional dedication and loyalty. Throughout his career, he contributed to the safety and security of the community, demonstrating courage, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to his duties.

After retirement, K9 Justice continued to live at home with his handler, MPO Evan Williams, where he remained a beloved companion and family member. His presence brought comfort, companionship, and joy to those around him, reflecting the strong bond between handler and K9 that is central to police service.

K9 Justice’s legacy extends beyond his professional accomplishments. He will be remembered for his steadfast loyalty, bravery, and the deep connection he shared with his handler and the Hampton Police Division.

His service and dedication left a lasting impact on the department and the community he served. Though he is no longer with us, his memory and contributions will be cherished by all who knew him. K9 Justice will always be a valued member of the Hampton Police family.
